DEDICATION OF FAITH ACTIVITY
CENTER
September 26, 2009
Dedication of Faith Activity Center On Saturday, September 26th, our FWB Children’s Home family was joined by over 100 friends as we dedicated our newest facility. The Faith Activity Center was officially named and dedicated to the Lord for ministry to children in a prayer offered by Alabama FWB Executive Director, Rich Cash. The 70’ x 120’ metal structure was the location for the day’s activities which included singing, presentations, and lunch. Board Chairman, Rodney Yerby led the event and shared information throughout the hour long dedication. Six long time Board of Trustee members were honored and presented a brick from the original building, Breckenridge Hall. Special music was provided by the Fields Trio of Millport, AL. Members of the Eldridge Benefit Team, sponsors of the Eldridge Toy Run each December, were recognized for their contribution to the building and the Home. Yerby also announced the establishment of the Carlton Lambert Endowment Fund and encouraged attendees to contribute to the fund through planned gifts. The day’s events concluded with a ceremonial ribbon cutting followed by a barbecue lunch. The day was truly one to be remembered.
